In art class, our KG and 1st grade students explored the artwork of Jean-Michel Basquiat, who was an influential African American artist. Basquiat was famous in 1980's for his primitive style which was considered a major contribution to the Neo-Expressionism movement. After their lesson, the students were inspired to create art of their own! .#MAexcellence .#BlackHistoryMonth

MA Parents/Guardians,
The good health of all students and staff is important to us. With sickness rates up within the community please take a few moments to review this useful health information and know when your child should stay home from school and when he/she can return to school.
As always, your student's trusted health care professional remains the best source of information.
To help prevent the spread of illness, we ask parents to remind their children of these essential health tips:
~Wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
~Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when sneezing or coughing.
~Avoid sharing drinks, water bottles, utensils, and pencils.
Also with our 3 day weekend coming up having No School Monday, February 17th due to observance of Presidents Day, it would be a good opportunity to wash all those coats, hats and gloves to wash away any germs.
Thank you for your attention to this important information.
