Senior Spotlight! Xavier Timberman is the son of Jessica and Eric Timberman of Albion. He will be attending Ferris State University in the fall to major in psychology and minor in culinary arts and hospitality. While attending Marshall Academy, Xavier participated in varsity football, varsity track, and Gentlemen of Quality. At Calhoun Area Career Center, he has participated in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality program. His hobbies include gardening and cooking. #MAexcellence #Classof2025
Senior Spotlight! Asher Thurman is the son of Ron and Lynda Thurman of Marshall. Asher is the Valedictorian of his class and participated in Varsity band from 5th grade. He also participated in numerous sports including varsity basketball, varsity football, and varsity track. He was a member of the NHS, student leadership, Gentlemen of Quality, and E-sports team. His hobbies are building models, drumming, aviation, sports, and gaming. Asher will start basic training in the summer then begin training to be a UH-60 helicopter mechanic in the United States Army. After completing that, Asher would like to become a Flying Warrant Officer and pilot UH-60 Blackhawks.

Senior Spotlight! Hayden Shields is the son of Christopher Shields of Marshall and Krista Shields of Albion. Hayden is enrolled in the Early Middle College program and was a member of the student council. In the fall, Hayden plans to attend Kellogg Community College where he will pursue a degree in radiography. After attending Kellogg Community College, Hayden plans to become an x-ray technician. #MAexcellence #Classof2025
Senior Spotlight! Nick Quigley is the son of Nick and Michelle Quigley of Albion, Michigan. Nick has a love of listening to music and going to waterparks. After high school Nick plans on joining the workforce and working in a restaurant. In the future Nick may also choose to pursue an education and career in drain fields and water wells.

Senior Spotlight! Brayden Newman is the son of LezLe Packard and Brandit Newman of Battle Creek. Brayden dual enrolled in college classes at both Ferris State University and Kellogg Community College. After graduation he plans to continue to take classes at KCC and work to become an electrician or go into real estate. While attending Marshall Academy Brayden participated in basketball for a year and the Gentlemen of Quality program. #MAexcellence #Class of 2025

Chase Kazmar is the son of Justin and Jenny Kazmar of Marshall and Plainwell. Chase was a member of Marshall Academy/Tekonsha football and wrestling. Chase plans on attending Kellogg Community College for welding to get his certificate. After his certificate he will go o to the pipefitters union to apply for an apprenticeship. #MAexcellence #classof2025

If you would like to help support Marshall Academy's Sunshine committee please purchase a hanging basket at $20 each. These will be available in the gym during our spring concert for purchase via check (made out to Marshall Academy), cash or credit card.

Senior Spotlight! Nate Cranmore is the son of Stacy Mullin and the stepson of James Dyer of Albion. Nate will be attending trade school, the Michigan Career Technical Institute for IT. He participated in band, Esports, and the Gentlemen of Quality. Nate attended the Calhoun Area Career Center for Welding and Collision Repair. Areli Bonilla is the daughter of Adela Mcallister and stepdaughter of Michael Mcallister of Marshall. Areli was a member of the Marshall Academy Student Leadership Council. In the fall, Areli plans to continue her classes with the Early Middle College program for an associate's degree in general studies. After attending Kellogg Community College, Areli plans on furthering her education and becoming a social worker. #MAexcellence #Classof2025
