Former Division I football player, Jodie Clemons, visited Marshall Academy to inspire students in the Career and College Readiness class by sharing his personal journey and experiences. Drawing from his background as a collegiate athlete, Clemons offered valuable insights on perseverance, goal-setting, and preparing for life after high school. His visit provided students with a real-world perspective on balancing academics and athletics while pursuing their future aspirations. #MAexcellence #EducationforaLifetimeofExcellence

Marshall Academy is excited to welcome Sharese N. Shannon as a new faculty member. Sharese joins our community from Albion College, where she served as Assistant Dean for Campus Life beginning in April 2021. Originally from Lansing, Michigan, Sharese is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and Eastern Illinois University and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. She brings seven years of teaching experience and a strong background in student retention to our community. Sharese currently resides in Albion and will teach History and serve as Advisor for Early Middle College and Dual Enrollment Students, while also teaching the College and Career Readiness course for seniors. Welcome to the team!

"My name is Miss Sarah. I'm the food service director and sports photographer, as well as a MA parent! This is my 6th school year working at MA and my daughter is going into 1st grade this year! During my time here, I've also coached MS volleyball, done maintenance and been a part of the S.O.S program. My favorite part about Marshall Academy is the sense of community! It's a real family feel. I know each student by name, I can even tell you their favorite foods. My daughter knows all the staff members, trusts them and feels safe. I look forward to going to work each day, being able to provide the kids with a new and improved menu that they help pick out, and being part of each of their journeys! I love that MA is small, which gives me the ability to form relationships with the children Prek- 12! We encourage students to try new things, we hear about how their mom makes this meal the best, we have fun! Every staff member at the academy has such an important role in each child's life, and I'm so grateful that I can be a part of that!"~Miss Sarah, Food Service Director and MA parent
