Building opened at 7:50am

1^st hour begins at 8:00am

Dismissal is at 3:15pm

 

Back to School Open House Thursday, September 2^nd 6-8pm

Please plan to stop my at the school to meet the teachers and staff and see all the changes that have happen over the summer. Also, please plan to stop by the office and fill out or pick-up forms for the new school year.

 

Middle School/High School Orientation Day Thursday, Sept. 2^nd 3-6pm

All 8^th through 12^th grade students can stop in and get their schedules and locker assignments.

 

We have two additions for the upcoming school year. Lisa Clark has been hired as our art teacher and will be teaching elementary art as well as art elective classes in the middle and high schools. She will bring excitement and great ideas to our art program. Jessica Hagedorn will be the 1^st grade teacher. She is and experienced teacher that will bring many great qualities to her 1^st grade classroom. At the writing of this newsletter, we are still searching for a secondary math teacher.

 

We are growing! We have 35+ new students that are enrolled for the upcoming school year. I am positive that you will find Marshall Academy is a great school. You will also find that we a welcoming community of students, staff, and parents. We look forward to getting to know you. There are a limited number of openings in many of our classrooms. Please encourage family and friends that are considering Marshall Academy, to enroll their children as soon as possible.

 

Would you lie to save up to 50% on gas? We have many people are interested in forming car-pools this year. Please call the office if you would like to be added to our carpool list. These lists are updated frequently and shared with the other families that are on the list.

Open to all students, Mrs. Bs is a great place for students to get help and finish their homework. Mrs. Bs room is open after school until 6pm, Monday-Friday. Cost is $7 per day or $30 per week. Please Call Jill Bultemerier with any questions, 781-2149 or 269-832-4678.

 

*sports physicals (dated after 4/15/2010) must be turned in by the 1^st day of practice for all sports. Physical cards can be picked up at the office or downloaded for our web site.

Middle School (6^th-8-th) begins on Sept. 7^th the first day of school, from 3:30-5:00pm

 

         Any students (grade 8^th-12^th) interested in running cross country can sign-up in the office. Practice will begin on the first day of school, on September 7^th, 3:30-5:00.
